Iasi Open: Andreeva moves into final

Russian Mirra Andreeva, the top seed, edged out Serb Olga Danilovic 3-6, 6-3, 7-6 (1) to advance to the final of the Iasi Open at the Ciric Sports Base on Thursday.
Andreeva, ranked No 32, will face the winner of the match between Russian Elina Avanesyan, the No 5 seed, and Frenchwoman Chloe Paquet next.
In the previous rounds of the Iasi tournament, the 17-year-old Russian defeated German Noma Noha Akugue (6-1, 6-2), Belarusian Aliaksandra Sasnovich (6-1, 6-3) and Croat lucky loser Lea Boskovic (6-2, 6-0).
Danilovic, ranked No 148, won against Russian Anna Blinkova, the No 4 seed (6-2, 5-7, 6-1), Romanian Anca Todoni (6-1, 6-1) and Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 8 seed (7-5, 6-2) earlier in the tournament.
