Hungarian Open: Sramkova into quarter-finals
Rebecca Sramkova defeated Xiyu Wang 7-6 (4), 6-3 on Thursday. She’ll face German Eva Lys in the next round

Slovak Rebecca Sramkova won against Chinese Xiyu Wang, the No 3 seed, 7-6 (4), 6-3 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Hungarian Open at Római Tennis Academy in Budapest.
Sramkova, ranked No 109, will face German Eva Lys next.
Ahead of her victory, the Slovak edged out Romanian qualifier Miriam Bulgaru (6-3, 4-6, 6-4).
Wang, ranked No 54, beat Romanian Anca Todoni (7-6 (4), 7-5) in the previous round of the Budapest tournament.
