Hungarian Open: Qualifier Sharma upsets seventh seed Rakhimova
The Australian will play the winner of the match between Slovak Kristina Kucova and Slovenian qualifier Kaja Juvan in the next round
Australian qualifier Astra Sharma upset Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 7 seed, 6-3, 6-3 to move into the last 16 of the Hungarian Open at Római Tennis Academy in Budapest on Monday.
Sharma, ranked No 216 in the world, will face the winner of the match between Slovak Kristina Kucova and Slovenian qualifier Kaja Juvan next.
7th seed Kamilla Rakhimova loses 3-6, 3-6 to the in-form qualifier Astra Sharma in the opening round of the Hungarian Grand Prix.
