Hungarian Open: Seidel reaches second round

German lucky loser Ella Seidel moved into the second round of the Hungarian Open when Japanese Moyuka Uchijima, the No 7 seed, retired on Tuesday afternoon at Római Tennis Academy in Budapest.
Seidel, ranked No 166, led 6-1, 1-0 when Uchijima, ranked No 69, pulled out on Tuesday at Római Tennis Academy in Budapest.
The 19-year-old German will play the winner of the match between Serb Olga Danilovic and Hungarian Anna Bondar next.
