Hungarian Open: Avanesyan upsets fifth seed Frech in first round
The Russian will face Spaniard Rebeka Masarova in the next round

Russian Elina Avanesyan defeated Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 5 seed, 7-6 (5), 6-4 to move into the second round of the Hungarian Open at Római Tennis Academy in Budapest on Monday.
Avanesyan, ranked No 75, will play Spaniard Rebeka Masarova next.
