Russian Kamilla Rakhimova moved into the second round of the Hungarian Grand Prix by winning against Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse, the No 7 seed, 6-4, 6-7 (3), 6-3 at Római Tennis Academy in Budapest on Monday.
Rakhimova, ranked No 107, will face Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko next.
