Hungarian Grand Prix: Bondar books spot in second round

Anna Bondar beat Jesika Maleckova 6-4, 6-4 on Tuesday afternoon and will face the winner of the match between Greek qualifier Despina Papamichail and Hungarian Dalma Galfi in the next round

Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 9 seed, defeated Czech qualifier Jesika Maleckova 6-4, 6-4 to move into the second round of the Hungarian Grand Prix at Római Tennis Academy in Budapest on Tuesday afternoon.

Bondar, ranked No 53, will face the winner of the match between Greek qualifier Despina Papamichail and Hungarian Dalma Galfi next.
