Spain’s Sara Sorribes Tormo reached the second round of the Hong Kong Open by defeating wildcard Ho Ching Wu 6-1, 6-0 on Wednesday.
Sorribes Tormo, ranked No 57, will play China’s Xinyu Wang, the No 4 seed, next.
