Cristina Bucsa defeated Hong Yi Cody Wong 6-3, 6-3 on Tuesday and will face Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens in the next round

Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed, won against wildcard Hong Yi Cody Wong 6-3, 6-3 to advance to the second round of the Hong Kong Open at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay on Tuesday.
Bucsa, ranked No 71, will play Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens next.
