Second seed Katie Boulter reached the second round of the Hong Kong Open by defeating Japanese Aoi Ito 6-4, 6-4 at Victoria Park, Causeway Bay on Tuesday.
Boulter, ranked No 29, will face Chinese Wang Xiyu next.
