Romanian Elena-Gabriela Ruse reached the last 16 of the Hong Kong 125 Open by defeating Chinese Qiang Wang 6-0, 6-4 on Tuesday.
Ruse, ranked No 93, will play Australian Ajla Tomljanovic next.
