Hong Kong 125 Open: Lamens makes quarters

Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens moved into the last 8 of the Hong Kong 125 Open by winning against Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 8 seed, 3-6, 7-5, 6-1 on Wednesday.
Lamens, ranked No 137, will play the winner of the match between American Hailey Baptiste and Frenchwoman Varvara Gracheva, the No 4 seed, next.
The Dutchwoman edged out Arianne Hartono (6-4, 1-6, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Bondar, ranked No 90, beat wildcard Hong Yi Cody Wong (6-4, 6-4).
