Ukraine’s Anhelina Kalinina, the No 5 seed, moved into the second round of the WTA Hobart International 1 by beating Canadian Rebecca Marino 6-2, 6-1 at the Domain Tennis Centre on Monday.
Kalinina, ranked No 39, will face Wimbledon semi-finalist Tatjana Maria, of Germany, who defeated Australian wildcard Talia Gibson 6-3, 6-2.
