Hamburg Open: Shnaider moves into quarter-finals

Russian Diana Shnaider moved into the last eight of the Hamburg Open by winning against Austrian Julia Grabher, the No 5 seed, 6-4, 6-2 at Am Rothenbaum on Tuesday evening.
Shnaider, ranked No 101, will play American Bernarda Pera, the No 3 seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the 19-year-old Russian beat qualifier Polina Kudermetova (6-0, 4-6, 6-1).
Grabher, ranked No 61, defeated Romanian qualifier Miriam Bulgaru (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Hamburg tournament.
