Diana Shnaider moved into the last 16 of the Hamburg Open by defeating qualifier Polina Kudermetova 6-0, 4-6, 6-1 at Am Rothenbaum.
Shnaider, ranked No 101, will face the winner of the match between Romanian qualifier Miriam Bulgaru and Austrian Julia Grabher, the No 5 seed, next.
