Hamburg European Open: Bondar into last eight
Anna Bondar defeated Kateryna Baindl 7-6 (5), 6-3 on Tuesday afternoon and will play the winner of the match between Ella Seidel and No 7 seed Eva Lys in the next round

Hungarian Anna Bondar, the No 4 seed, won against Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl 7-6 (5), 6-3 to reach the last 8 of the Hamburg European Open on Tuesday.
Bondar, ranked No 94, will face the winner of the match between Ella Seidel and No 7 seed Eva Lys next.
In the previous round, the Hungarian defeated German qualifier Anna Petkovic (6-1, 6-3).
Baindl, ranked No 310, won against German wildcard Carolina Kuhl (6-3, 6-2) in the 32.
