Guangzhou Open: Sijia upsets sixth seed Sramkova in first round
The wildcard will face the winner of the match between Chinese Xiyu Wang and Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus in the next round

Chinese wildcard Wei Sijia won against Slovak Rebecca Sramkova, the No 6 seed, 6-1, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Guangzhou Open at the Nansha International Tennis Center on Monday.
Sijia, ranked No 135, will play the winner of the match between Chinese Xiyu Wang and Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus next.
