Guangzhou Open: Wang sets up all-Chinese clash against Sijia in second round
Wang won against Arantxa Rus 6-2, 6-4 in the first round on Tuesday
China’s Xiyu Wang won against Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the second round of the Guangzhou Open at the Nansha International Tennis Center on Tuesday.
Wang, ranked No 99 and the defending champion at this event, will play countrywoman Sijia Wei, a wildcard entrant, next.
