Guangzhou Open: Qualifier Dolehide advances to second round

American qualifier Caroline Dolehide won against Russian lucky loser Elena Pridankina 6-2, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the Guangzhou Open at the Nansha International Tennis Center on Tuesday.

Dolehide, ranked No 101, will face the winner of the match between Dutchwoman Suzan Lamens and second seed Marie Bouzkova next.
