Guangzhou Open: Bronzetti beats Cristian to reach quarter-finals
The Italian will take on the winner of the match between wildcard Sijia Wei and Xiyu Wang in the next round

Italian Lucia Bronzetti defeated Romanian Jaqueline Cristian 7-6 (5), 6-4 to move into the last eight of the Guangzhou Open at the Nansha International Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Bronzetti, ranked No 84, will play the winner of the match between wildcard Sijia Wei and Xiyu Wang next.
Ahead of her win today, the Italian won against Armenian Elina Avanesyan, the No 4 seed (6-1, 6-4).
Cristian, ranked No 74, beat Swiss Viktorija Golubic (6-4, 2-6, 6-1) earlier in the week.
