Guadalajara Open: Frech books spot in quarter-finals

Pole Magdalena Frech, the No 5 seed, won against American Ashlyn Krueger 3-6, 6-3, 6-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Guadalajara Open at the Panamerican Tennis Center on Friday night.
Frech, ranked No 43, will play Canadian wildcard Marina Stakusic next.
The Pole beat American Emina Bektas (6-4, 6-4) in the previous round of the Guadalajara tournament.
In the previous round of the Guadalajara tournament, Krueger, ranked No 51, won against German Tatjana Maria (7-5, 6-2).
