Italian Martina Trevisan, the second seed, reached the last 16 of the Guadalajara 125 Open by winning against Russian Valeria Savinykh 3-6, 6-4, 6-2 on Tuesday evening.

Trevisan, ranked No 90, will play Serb Aleksandra Krunic next.
