Guadalajara 125 Open: Rakhimova rolls into quarter-finals

Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 5 seed, moved into the quarter-finals of the Guadalajara 125 Open by beating Australian Taylah Preston 6-1, 6-2 on Wednesday evening.
Rakhimova, ranked No 104, will play Italian Martina Trevisan, the second seed, next.
Ahead of her victory, the Russian won against qualifier Samantha Murray Sharan (6-3, 6-0).
Preston, ranked No 145, won against Eudice Wong Chong (6-3, 6-2) in the previous round.
