Guadalajara 125 Open: Rakhimova upsets Trevisan to move into last four

Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 5 seed, moved into the last four of the Guadalajara 125 Open when Italian Martina Trevisan, the second seed, retired on Thursday evening.
Rakhimova, ranked No 104, led 6-1, 3-1 when Trevisan, ranked No 90, pulled out on Thursday evening.
The Russian will play the winner of the match between Colombian Emiliana Arango and Canadian Rebecca Marino next.
Ahead of her victory, Kamilla Rakhimova defeated qualifier Samantha Murray Sharan (6-3, 6-0) and Australian Taylah Preston (6-1, 6-2).
The Italian won against Russian Valeria Savinykh (3-6, 6-4, 6-2) and Serb Aleksandra Krunic (6-3, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
