Guadalajara 125 Open: Arango misses out on final

Russian Kamilla Rakhimova, the No 5 seed, defeated Colombian Emiliana Arango 6-4, 6-2 to move into the final of the Guadalajara 125 Open on Friday evening.
Rakhimova, ranked No 104, will play German Tatjana Maria, the No 4 seed, next.
Earlier in the tournament, the Russian won against qualifier Samantha Murray Sharan (6-3, 6-0), Australian Taylah Preston (6-1, 6-2) and Italian Martina Trevisan, the second seed (6-1, 3-1 ret.).
Arango, ranked No 142, beat Mexican wildcard Ana Karen Guadiana Campos (6-0, 6-1), American Elizabeth Mandlik (6-4, 3-6, 6-2) and Canadian Rebecca Marino (6-3, 5-7, 7-5) in the previous rounds.
