Australian Olivia Gadecki advanced to the last 16 of the Guadalajara 125 Open by defeating Argentinian Julia Riera, the No 8 seed, 6-4, 6-2 on Monday evening.
Gadecki, ranked No 154, will face the winner of the match between Italian Lucrezia Stefanini and American qualifier Sachia Vickery next.
