Italian qualifier Camilla Rosatello advanced to the second round of the Grand Est Open by beating Mexican Fernanda Contreras Gomez 7-6 (4), 7-6 (1) at Tennis Club de Contrexéville on Monday.
Rosatello, ranked No 301, will face French qualifier Alice Robbe next.
