Italian qualifier Camilla Rosatello beat French qualifier Alice Robbe 7-6 (7), 6-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the Grand Est Open at Tennis Club de Contrexéville on Wednesday.
Rosatello, ranked No 301, will play the winner of the match between Italian Sara Errani and Serb Olga Danilovic next.
In the previous round, the Italian won against Mexican Fernanda Contreras Gomez (7-6 (4), 7-6 (1)).
Robbe, ranked No 318, defeated Swiss Ylena In-Albon, the No 7 seed (7-6 (5), 6-4) during the first round.
