French qualifier Alice Robbe moved into the second round of the Grand Est Open by defeating Swiss Ylena In-Albon, the No 7 seed, 7-6 (5), 6-4 at Tennis Club de Contrexéville on Monday.
Robbe, ranked No 318, will face the winner of the match between Mexican Fernanda Contreras Gomez and Italian qualifier Camilla Rosatello next.
