Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the second seed, beat French wildcard Tessah Andrianjafitrimo 6-0, 6-0 to reach the last 8 of the Grand Est Open at Tennis Club de Contrexéville in Contréxeville on Thursday.
Bucsa, ranked No 78, will play wildcard Fiona Ferro next.
Ahead of her victory, the Spaniard won against German Tamara Korpatsch (1-6, 6-4, 6-3).
Andrianjafitrimo, ranked No 428, won against Brazilian Laura Pigossi (7-5, 6-0) in the previous round of the Contréxeville tournament.
