Russian qualifier Erika Andreeva won against Frenchwoman Oceane Dodin, the No 4 seed, 6-3, 7-6 (5) to move into the second round of the Grand Est Open at Tennis Club de Contrexéville on Tuesday evening.
Andreeva, ranked No 162, will face Frenchwoman Jessika Ponchet next.
