Colombian Emiliana Arango, the No 6 seed, won against Swiss qualifier Conny Perrin 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 to move into the last 16 of the Grand Est Open 88 on Tuesday.

Arango, ranked No 122, will play German lucky loser Caroline Werner next.
