Former Wimbldon runner-up Lisicki into second in Bad Homburg
Sabine Lisicki defeats Tamara Korpatsch 6-4, 7-6 (5) on Tuesday and will play Belgian Greet Minnen in the next round in Bad Homburg

German wildcard Sabine Lisicki beat lucky loser Tamara Korpatsch 6-4, 7-6 (5) to move into the second round of the Bad Homburg Open at Bod Hombourg vor der Höhe in Bad Hombourg on Tuesday.
Lisicki, a runner-up at Wimbledon in 2013, won her first WTA Tour-level match since 2018. She will next face Belgian Greet Minnen.
Minnen defeated Japanese lucky loser Misaki Doi in straight sets.
