Eastbourne Open: Kasatkina recovers to reach quarters
Daria Kasatkina won against Yue Yuan 3-6, 6-4, 6-0 on Wednesday evening. She’ll play wildcard Emma Raducanu in the next round
Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 6 seed, defeated Chinese Yue Yuan 3-6, 6-4, 6-0 to advance to the last 8 of the Eastbourne Open at Devonshire Park Lawn Club on Wednesday evening.
Kasatkina, ranked No 14, will face wildcard Emma Raducanu next.
The Russian won against Chinese Xinyu Wang (6-4, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Eastbourne tournament, Yuan, ranked No 38, benefited from the abandonment of Russian Anastasia Potapova (6-3, 6-6).
