Russian Daria Kasatkina, the No 6 seed, defeated Chinese Xinyu Wang 6-4, 6-2 to reach the last 16 of the Eastbourne Open at Devonshire Park Lawn Club on Tuesday evening.
Kasatkina, ranked No 14, will face Chinese Yue Yuan next.
