American Madison Keys won against Croat lucky loser Petra Martic 6-4, 6-1 to reach the last four of the Eastbourne International at Devonshire Park Lawn Club on Thursday.
Keys, ranked No 25, will play the winner of the match between No 3 seed Jessica Pegula and No 5 seed Coco Gauff next.
The American defeated lucky loser Tereza Martincova (7-6 (4), 6-4) and Chinese qualifier Xiyu Wang (6-2, 7-6 (3)) ahead of her victory.
Earlier in the tournament, Martic, ranked No 30, won against wildcard Katie Boulter (6-4, 7-5) and Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the No 8 seed (6-4, 3-2 ret.).
