Eastbourne International: Garcia reaches quarter-finals
Caroline Garcia won against Ana Bogdan 6-3, 6-4 on Wednesday evening and will play Russian Daria Kasatkina in the next round

Frenchwoman Caroline Garcia, the second seed, reached the last 8 of the Eastbourne International by winning against Romanian qualifier Ana Bogdan 6-3, 6-4 at Devonshire Park Lawn Club on Wednesday evening.
Garcia, ranked No 5, will play Russian Daria Kasatkina next.
The Frenchwoman defeated American qualifier Madison Brengle (6-1, 7-5) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Eastbourne tournament, Bogdan, ranked No 61, beat Sorana Cirstea (6-3, 2-6, 6-3).
