Dutch Open: Hruncakova upsets Andreescu to reach quarter-finals
Viktoria Hruncakova beat Bianca Andreescu 7-6 (6), 6-3 on Thursday and will play American Ashlyn Krueger in the next round

Slovak Viktoria Hruncakova reached the quarter-finals of the Dutch Open by beating Canadian Bianca Andreescu, the No 6 seed, 7-6 (6), 6-3 at the Autotron Rosmalen in’s-Hertogenbosch on Thursday afternoon.
Hruncakova, ranked No 144, will play American Ashlyn Krueger next.
The Slovak won against Swiss qualifier Susan Bandecchi (6-4, 6-2) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round of the Rosmalen tournament, Andreescu, ranked No 37, won against qualifier Zeynep Sonmez (6-4, 6-4).
