Dubai Open: Cirstea advances to second round
Sorana Cirstea beat Sofia Kenin 6-3, 7-6 (2) on Sunday evening. She’ll play the winner of the match between Russian Veronika Kudermetova, the No 13 seed, and Ukrainian wildcard Dayana Yastremska in the next round

Romanian Sorana Cirstea advanced to the second round of the Dubai Open by winning against American Sofia Kenin 6-3, 7-6 (2) at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Sunday evening.
Cirstea, ranked No 22, will face the winner of the match between Russian Veronika Kudermetova, the No 13 seed, and Ukrainian wildcard Dayana Yastremska next.
