Bulgarian qualifier Viktoriya Tomova moved into the second round of the Dubai Duty Free Championships by winning against Estonian Kaia Kanepi 6-3, 6-1 at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Sunday.
Tomova, ranked No 100, will face No 3 seed Jessica Pegula next.
