Czech Karolina Pliskova beat Greek Maria Sakkari, the No 6 seed, 6-1, 6-2 to advance to the last 16 of the Dubai Duty Free Championships at The Aviation Club Tennis Centre on Tuesday night.
Pliskova, ranked No 18, will play Anhelina Kalinina next.
The Czech won against Marketa Vondrousova (6-3, 6-4) ahead of her victory.
