Dow Tennis Classic: Peyton Stearns moves into second round
Peyton Stearns defeated Asia Muhammad 6-3, 6-4 on Tuesday evening. She’ll face the winner of the match between Japanese Moyuka Uchijima, the No 8 seed, and American Ashlyn Krueger in the next round
Wildcard Peyton Stearns reached the second round of the Dow Tennis Classic by winning against Asia Muhammad 6-3, 6-4 at Greater Midland Tennis Center on Tuesday evening.
Stearns, ranked No 244, will face the winner of the match between Japanese Moyuka Uchijima, the No 8 seed, and American Ashlyn Krueger next.
