Canadian Rebecca Marino, the No 6 seed, won the Dow Tennis Classic trophy by beating American Alycia Parks, the No 3 seed, 6-2, 6-1 on Sunday evening.
Ahead of her victory, Marino, ranked No 115, defeated American qualifier Robin Anderson (6-4, 7-6 (4)), American Louisa Chirico (6-7 (8), 6-2, 7-6 (7)), Russian Alina Korneeva (6-4, 7-5) and Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko, the No 8 seed (6-2, 7-5).
Parks, ranked No 120, beat Israeli Lina Glushko (4-6, 6-2, 6-4), wildcard Catherine McNally (6-1, 4-6, 6-4), Australian Astra Sharma (6-3, 6-1) and wildcard Lauren Davis (6-3, 6-3) earlier in the tournament.
