Cymbiotika San Diego Open: Krejcikova lifts the trophy
Barbora Krejcikova lifted the trophy on Saturday night against Sofia Kenin.

No 4 seed Barbora Krejcikova lifted the Cymbiotika San Diego Open trophy by edging out American wildcard Sofia Kenin 6-4, 2-6, 6-4 on Saturday night.
Krejcikova, ranked No 13, beat Ukrainian Anhelina Kalinina (6-3, 6-2), Brazilian Beatriz Haddad Maia, the No 7 seed (6-4, 6-3) and American Danielle Collins (3-6, 7-5, 6-2) in the previous rounds.
Earlier in the tournament, Kenin, ranked No 93, defeated Russian Veronika Kudermetova, the No 6 seed (6-4, 6-4), wildcard Katie Volynets (1-6, 6-4, 6-2), Russian Anastasia Potapova (6-2, 6-3) and qualifier Emma Navarro (6-2, 5-7, 6-4).
