Crèdit Andorrà Open: Bucsa makes quarter-finals

Spaniard Cristina Bucsa, the No 8 seed, advanced to the last eight of the Crèdit Andorrà Open by beating Ukrainian Kateryna Baindl 6-3, 6-3 on Thursday afternoon.
Bucsa, ranked No 108, will face Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck, the second seed, next.
The Spaniard won against Israeli Lina Glushko (6-1, 7-6 (1)) ahead of her victory.
In the previous round, Baindl, ranked No 100, defeated Turk Pemra Ozgen (7-6 (3), 6-3).
