Ukrainian Yulia Starodubtsewa reached the second round of the Colina Open by winning against Italian Sara Errani, the No 4 seed, 6-1, 7-6 (1) at the Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica on Tuesday evening.
Yulia Starodubtsewa will play the winner of the match between Barundi qualifier Sada Nahimana and Argentinian wildcard Guillermina Naya next.
