Colina Open: Ferro reaches second round
Fiona Ferro defeated Carolina M. Alves 6-4, 6-1 on Tuesday evening and will face the winner of the match between Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle and Frenchwoman Diane Parry, the No 5 seed, in the next round

Frenchwoman Fiona Ferro won against Brazilian Carolina M. Alves 6-4, 6-1 to advance to the second round of the Colina Open at the Club Deportivo Universidad Catolica on Tuesday evening.
Ferro, ranked No 160, will play the winner of the match between Argentinian Maria Lourdes Carle and Frenchwoman Diane Parry, the No 5 seed, next.
