Romanian Jaqueline Cristian moved into the last 8 of the Cluj-Napoca Open by beating Dane Clara Tauson 6-4, 6-0 at the BTarena.
Cristian, ranked No 81, will play Latvian Anastasija Sevastova next.
Ahead of her victory, the Romanian won against Spanish lucky loser Marina Bassols Ribera (6-3, 6-2).
Tauson, ranked No 80, defeated Argentinian Nadia Podoroska, the No 9 seed (6-3, 6-1) in the previous round of the Cluj-Napoca tournament.
