Cluj-Napoca Open: Blinkova advances to second round

Russian Anna Blinkova advanced to the second round of the Cluj-Napoca Open by winning against Spanish qualifier Sara Sorribes Tormo 6-2, 6-2 at the BT Arena on Tuesday evening.

Blinkova, ranked No 71, will face the winner of the match between German qualifier Ella Seidel and Romanian Jaqueline Cristian, the No 8 seed, next.
