Arantxa Rus defeated Lucia Bronzetti 6-3, 7-6 (4) on Monday and will face the winner of the match between Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, the No 7 seed, and American wildcard Lauren Davis in the next round

Dutchwoman Arantxa Rus defeated Italian Lucia Bronzetti 6-3, 7-6 (4) to move into the second round of the Cleveland Open at Jacobs Pavilion on Monday.
Rus, ranked No 96, will play the winner of the match between Bulgarian Viktoriya Tomova, the No 7 seed, and American wildcard Lauren Davis next.
